Teen Dad Kip is walking through treasure town, sunglasses on, pushing 2 week old Manaphy in the stroller cuz they're going to the Hot Springs for some Father-Son bonding.
Meanwhile, Twig is desperately asking for parenting advice and Grovyle is like 'Take my advice, I raised you, look how that turned out.' which just sends Twig into a progressive downwards spiral but in the end they all go to family night at Spinda's cafe and listen to a Kricketune perform and Manaphy sings for the first time and everything is right in the world.

To be more clear, Manaphy popped out of his egg a very intelligent toddler, and they described him by the age that he behaved rather than the age he was. They didn’t have him for a full five years.
Twig going to Grovyle for parenting advice because she’s panicking and getting this interaction while Kip is having the best time with Manaphy on a Father-Son Outing is absolutely hilarious, though, and is tempting me to declare it canon instead of Twig and Kip never mentioning Manaphy to the Future Trio before they have a joyful reunion with their baby.
